- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until browned.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
- In the same skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop.
- Mix the heavy cream and chicken broth in the skillet, scraping up any bits from the bottom.
- Pour the cream mixture over the chicken breasts, then sprinkle with bacon and cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite seasoning overnight.
- Brown the bacon before adding it on top of the chicken for an extra crispy texture.
