- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 package rice paper wrappers
- 1 cup vermicelli noodles, cooked
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 tablespoons oil for frying
Instructions
- In a pan, heat oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned.
- Stir in soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and basil leaves; mix well and remove from heat.
- Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft.
- Layer cooked vermicelli noodles, cucumber, and carrot on each wrapper, top with beef mixture.
- Roll tightly, tucking in sides, and serve.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding chopped chili.
- Serve with a dipping sauce of your choice.
