  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 cup water chestnuts, diced
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 1 head large lettuce (like Butter or Romaine)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the ground chicken, breaking it apart until fully cooked.
  4. Add water chestnuts, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and rice vinegar to the chicken. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in green onions.
  6. To serve, spoon the mixture into the lettuce leaves and fold them like tacos. Enjoy!
