- 1 pound ground chicken

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 cup water chestnuts, diced
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 1 head large lettuce (like Butter or Romaine)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the ground chicken, breaking it apart until fully cooked.
- Add water chestnuts, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and rice vinegar to the chicken. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in green onions.
- To serve, spoon the mixture into the lettuce leaves and fold them like tacos. Enjoy!
Notes
- For added spice, consider adding chopped chili or sriracha to the mixture.
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey or pork for a different flavor.
