- 1 pound dried pinto beans
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup diced chicken ham
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse and soak the pinto beans overnight.
- In the slow cooker, layer the turkey bacon, chicken ham, onion, and garlic.
- Add the drained beans, barbecue sauce, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in enough water to cover the beans.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or until beans are tender.

- Feel free to add more spices to your taste.
