Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the dough into a greased muffin tin, pressing down to create cups.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are firm.
  9. Allow to cool before removing from the tin.
  10. Optionally, top with sprinkles before serving.
