- 4 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the blackberries, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add in the melted butter and milk, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter over the blackberry mixture in the baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
