- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup white chocolate, melted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the melted white chocolate and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture and heavy cream, alternating until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into each prepared pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over one layer of cake batter in a pan.
- Top with the remaining cake batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before removing from pans.
- Frost with whipped cream or additional cream cheese frosting if desired.
Notes
- Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature for best results.
- Chill the cheesecake center for an hour before frosting for a firmer texture.
