			- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
Instructions
- Peel the hard-boiled eggs and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, garlic, red pepper flakes, mustard seeds, and peppercorns. Bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
- Place the eggs in a jar and pour the cooled brine over them.
- Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
- For best flavor, let the eggs sit for 3-5 days.
Notes
- For a stronger kick, add more red pepper flakes to the brine.
- The pickled eggs can be enjoyed as a snack or added to salads.
