  • 2 cups marinara sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the zucchini lengthwise into thin strips.
  3. Cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop it into small pieces.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, egg, bacon, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Layer zucchini strips, ricotta mixture, and marinara sauce, repeating until all ingredients are used.
  7. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.
