- 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 package flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar. Stir in the cinnamon.
- Remove from heat and add apple slices, mixing until well coated.
- Place a portion of the apple mixture onto a tortilla, sprinkle with nuts if using, and roll it up tightly.
- Place the rolled tortillas in a baking dish and pour any remaining sauce over them.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, try adding some raisins to the apple filling.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream for a delicious combination.
