  • 1 pound ground turkey bacon
  • 1 onion diced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound pasta
  • 2 cups béchamel sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until golden.
  3. Add the ground turkey bacon and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, cinnamon, oregano, salt, and black pepper, and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  6. In a baking dish, layer half of the pasta, followed by the meat sauce, then the rest of the pasta.
  7. Spread the béchamel sauce on top and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
