Instructions
1️⃣ Cream Butter & Sugar: Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2️⃣ Add Wet Ingredients: Mix in egg, vanilla, and almond extract.
3️⃣ Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
4️⃣ Roll & Chill: Divide dough in half, roll out to ¼ inch thickness, and chill for 1–2 hours.
5️⃣ Cut & Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C), cut shapes, and bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
6️⃣ Cool & Decorate: Let cookies cool completely before icing.
