Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
- In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar and granulated sugar with the browned butter.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix thoroughly.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks.
- Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For chewier cookies, refrigerate the dough for an hour before baking.
- These cookies can be made ahead and frozen for later use.
