- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Blanch the asparagus in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath to stop cooking.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
- Layer the blanched asparagus in a baking dish, pour the cream mixture over it, and sprinkle with Gruyère and Parmesan cheeses.
- Top with breadcrumbs for a nice crunch.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
