- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top each breast with marinara sauce and both cheeses.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2 minutes.
