Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in vanilla.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, toss sliced apples with cinnamon and lemon juice.
- Fold apple mixture into the batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
