- 4 ounces turkey bacon
- 2 pounds chicken breasts
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Cook the turkey bacon in a large skillet until crispy, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and butter, then add sliced chicken, cooking until browned on both sides.
- Remove the chicken and sauté garlic and mushrooms in the remaining fat until tender.
- Add Marsala wine and chicken broth to the skillet, bringing to a simmer.
- Add chicken back to the skillet, season with thyme, salt, and pepper, and cook until the chicken is fully cooked through.
- Top with crispy turkey bacon and serve.
