- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Flatten the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a creamier sauce, add a splash of heavy cream towards the end of cooking.
- Serve with pasta or rice for a complete meal.
