- 2 cans of cinnamon rolls
- 3 cups chopped apples
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and walnuts.
- Spread half of the cinnamon rolls into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Add a layer of the apple mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
- Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla, then spread over the apple layer.
- Top with the remaining cinnamon rolls.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can drizzle icing from the cinnamon rolls over the baked dish.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a decadent treat.
