Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add the cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Pour in the milk and stir until combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. In a separate bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Remove biscuits from the oven and immediately coat them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
