  • 2 cups crushed cookies (such as Oreos)
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract; mix on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in boiling water until smooth. Fold in crushed cookies.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Cool cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then turn out onto wire racks to cool completely.
  7. For the frosting, beat heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  8. Layer one cake with frosting and top with another cake, then frost the top and sides.
