- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups whole milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
Instructions
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
- Slowly add the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheeses until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in the crumbled turkey bacon.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
