- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced potatoes, turkey bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream with half of the cheddar cheese.
- Layer the potato mixture in a baking dish and pour the cream mixture over it.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute cream with milk.
- Add herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.
