- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until well combined.
- Add the heavy cream, whole milk, chopped walnuts, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a flan mold or ramekins.
- Place the mold in a larger baking dish and fill the dish with water halfway up the sides of the mold.
- Bake for about 50 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven, let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream for added indulgence.
- Feel free to sprinkle more chopped walnuts on top for decoration.
