Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add onions, green bell peppers, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until vegetables are soft.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in provolone cheese until melted.
  4. Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture into the center of each egg roll wrapper.
  5. Roll the wrapper tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
  6. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown on both sides.
  8. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
