- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add onions, green bell peppers, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until vegetables are soft.
- Remove from heat and stir in provolone cheese until melted.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture into the center of each egg roll wrapper.
- Roll the wrapper tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the egg rolls until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
- Allow the egg rolls to cool slightly before serving to avoid burns.
