Deliciously crispy smashed potatoes topped with creamy whipped feta and a drizzle of spicy chili honey.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes
  • 1 cup feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chili honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Boil the baby potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly.
  4. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and gently smash each one with a fork or potato masher.
  5. Drizzle olive oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
  7. While the potatoes are roasting, in a bowl, blend the feta cheese and heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
  8. Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven and top each with whipped feta and a drizzle of chili honey.
  9. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add chili flakes to the whipped feta.
  • Adjust the amount of chili honey based on your heat preference.
