Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ½ cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, crumbled turkey bacon, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form mixture into meatballs and place them in the Crock Pot.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix beef broth and onion soup mix. Pour over the meatballs in the Crock Pot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top of meatballs during the last 30 minutes of cooking.

  • For extra flavor, add herbs like thyme or rosemary to the meat mixture.
