- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the chicken, shred it with two forks and return it to the slow cooker.
- Add the fettuccine and Parmesan cheese, stirring to combine.
- Cover and cook on high for another 30 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can sauté the garlic before adding it to the slow cooker.
- If you want a more indulgent dish, substitute half of the heavy cream with cream cheese.
