- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix together the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
- Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan, sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture on top, pour the remaining batter, and finish with the remaining topping.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
