- 1 package chocolate cake mix
- 4 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 cup crushed peanuts
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup maraschino cherries
Instructions
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions and bake in a round cake pan.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Slice the cooled cake in half horizontally.
- Spread half of the vanilla ice cream on the top layer of the cake.
- Drizzle half of the chocolate syrup over the ice cream and sprinkle with half the crushed peanuts.
- Place the second layer of cake on top and repeat the layering with the remaining ice cream, chocolate syrup, and peanuts.
- Frost the top of the cake with whipped cream and top with maraschino cherries.
- Freeze the cake for at least 4 hours before serving.
