- 12 dumplings
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, basil, parsley, and garlic powder until combined.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer half of the dumplings, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, and then half of the mozzarella.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with marinara sauce on top, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or zucchini for extra nutrition.
