- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onions.
- Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the beef mixture.
- In a large baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, then the beef mixture, followed by half of the cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, and cheese.
- In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with milk and pour over the casserole.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden.
