- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¾ cup key lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- ½ cup whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press mixture into the bottom and sides of a pie dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- In another bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, key lime juice, and lime zest until smooth.
- Pour the lime mixture into the cooled crust.
- Bake for another 10-15 minutes, then allow to cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Top with whipped cream before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter pie, adjust the sugar in the crust to taste.
- Make sure to use fresh key lime juice for the best flavor.
