- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the peanut butter, mashed bananas, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Stir in the baking soda and salt.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a more intense banana flavor, use very ripe bananas.
- Experiment with different types of chocolate chips like dark or white chocolate.
