- 1 pound ground turkey
- 8 slices turkey bacon
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop.
- Sauté the bell peppers, onion, and garlic in the same skillet until soft.
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, cooked vegetables, breadcrumbs, egg, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish.
- Top with shredded provolone cheese.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- This meatloaf can be made ahead of time and reheated.
- Feel free to swap out the cheeses for different flavors.
