Ingredients

- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup green beans
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the vegetable broth over medium heat.
- Add the onions, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the garlic, thyme, and basil and cook for another minute.
- Add the tomatoes and green beans, and bring the soup to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
