- 1 pound beef roast
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the sliced turkey bacon until crispy and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and cook the onion until translucent.
- Season the beef roast with garlic powder and black pepper, then sear on all sides.
- Add the seared beef roast and cooked onions to the beef broth in a slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Once cooked, remove the beef and shred it.
- Assemble the sandwiches by piling shredded beef, bacon, and Swiss cheese into the hoagie rolls.
- Serve with a side of beef broth for dipping.

- For extra flavor, consider adding your favorite herbs to the broth.
