- 4 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup cornflakes, crushed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Shape the ice cream into balls and freeze until firm.
- Prepare a batter by mixing flour, eggs, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Dip each ice cream ball into the batter, then roll in the crushed cornflakes.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the coated ice cream balls until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve immediately, optionally with chocolate or caramel sauce.
Notes
- Make sure the ice cream is very firm before dipping.
- Experiment with different cereals for coating.
