Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup cornflakes, crushed
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- Start by scooping the vanilla ice cream into balls and freeze them for at least 2 hours.
- Prepare a breading station: set up bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of crushed cornflakes and cinnamon.
- Coat each ice cream ball in flour, then dip into eggs, and finally roll in the cornflake mixture.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the coated ice cream balls in batches until golden brown, about 30 seconds. Remove and place on paper towels.
- Serve immediately with toppings of your choice.
Notes
- For a unique twist, add chocolate or caramel sauce over the fried ice cream.
- Ensure the ice cream balls are very firm before breading to prevent melting while frying.
