  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and bell peppers and sauté until soft.
  3. Add the minced garlic, salt, and pepper, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Add the sliced steak to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through.
  5. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise and scoop out some of the insides.
  6. Fill the bread with the steak and vegetable mixture, then top with shredded provolone cheese.
  7. Place the stuffed bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
