- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup tomato sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil the cabbage for about 5 minutes until the leaves are pliable.
- In a bowl, mix together ground beef, turkey bacon, rice, onion, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Take a cabbage leaf, place a portion of the mixture inside, and roll it tightly.
- Place rolls seam-side down in a baking dish.
- Pour tomato sauce over the rolls.
- Bake for 1 hour covered with foil, then remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes.
Notes
- These rolls can be frozen for later use.
- Serve with sour cream for extra flavor.
