- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (4 oz) diced green chiles
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup olives, sliced
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- In the same skillet, add ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Add onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Stir in the green chiles, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in the tomato sauce and olives, and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot, topped with the crumbled turkey bacon.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of lime juice before serving.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more chili powder or fresh peppers.
