- 2 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and seasoned ground beef
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place a tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the entire surface.
- Layer the ground beef, tomatoes, and onions on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the fillings and top with the second tortilla.
- Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown, then carefully flip it over.
- Add butter to the pan and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add jalapeños or peppers to the filling.
- Serve with a side of salsa or sour cream for dipping.
