Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly until it starts to simmer.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and continue to stir until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg if desired.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately over your favorite pasta.

- For a thicker sauce, let it simmer for a few extra minutes.
