Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm milk and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Roll out the cold butter between two sheets of parchment paper to form a rectangle.
- Roll out the dough into a large rectangle and place the butter on one half.
- Fold the dough over the butter and seal the edges.
- Roll the dough out again and fold it multiple times to create layers.
- Chill the dough again before cutting into triangles and rolling into croissants.
- Let the croissants rise before baking in a preheated oven until golden brown.
