Ingredients

- 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
- 8 cups water
- 1 cup sugar (or to taste)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 ginger root, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup of pineapple juice (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the dried hibiscus flowers under cold water.
- In a large pot, boil the water.
- Add the hibiscus flowers, ginger, and orange slices to the boiling water.
- Let it simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Strain the mixture into a pitcher.
- Add sugar and stir until dissolved. If using, add pineapple juice.
- Chill the Zobo drink in the refrigerator.
- Serve cold over ice.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness according to your preference.
- You can add mint leaves for extra flavor.
