Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1¾ cups warm water
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
  3. Allow the dough to rise for 1 hour in a warm place until doubled in size.
  4. Meanwhile, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and parsley in a bowl.
  5. Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions.
  6. Flatten each portion, place a mixture of mozzarella and cream cheese inside, and seal the edges.
  7. Brush the tops with the garlic butter mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Let the rolls rise again for 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
