- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned; drain any excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning to the beef; simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, salt, and pepper.
- To assemble, place a noodle in a cupcake liner, add beef mixture, then ricotta mixture, and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with sautéed vegetables.
- These cupcakes can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
