- 2 slices bread
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Top with shredded chicken, marinara sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
- Cook until golden brown on the bottom, then flip carefully and cook until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add herbs like basil or oregano to the chicken.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
