- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- zest of 2 limes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add in the flour and salt, mixing until combined.
- Stir in the lime juice and zest.
- Press the dough into a greased 9x9 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can drizzle a simple lime glaze over the cooled bars.
